History
The Kenya National Animal Orphanage was established in 1954, by Dame Daphne Sheldrick. The orphanage has continuously cared for orphaned elephants and other endangered wildlife such as orphaned lions, cheetahs, and other other wildlife such as birds of prey, providing them with a safe haven and rehabilitation.
