Life at the Orphanage

Morning Feeding

— Our keepers begin the day with bottle-feeding orphaned calves and cubs. This ensures young animals get the nutrition they need for healthy growth.

Enrichment Activities

— Enrichment sessions include play, training, and introducing natural elements like branches or water pools to stimulate instincts.

“Enrichment is key to animal welfare in captivity.”
KNAO Caretaker’s Handbook

Medical Check-ups

— Our veterinary team conducts health assessments, administers vaccines, and monitors progress of recovering animals.

Evening Calm

— As the sun sets, the animals return to their enclosures. Caretakers record daily observations for each orphan.
